About Pick the GOAT
Pick the GOAT(Greatest Of All Time) is the internet’s playground for the arguments that never end. Messi or Ronaldo? Pizza or sushi? Cats or dogs? You pick a side, a little mascot reacts to the result, and you instantly see how the rest of the world voted. That’s it — quick, playful, and weirdly addictive.

Categories
How votes are counted
Voting is anonymous and account-free. We keep one lightweight, non-tracking cookie in your browser so you count as one vote per match-up— no login, no personal data. It’s best-effort (a fun poll, not an election), and we rate-limit abuse to keep results honest.
Each category ranking uses an ELO-stylesystem computed live from the current vote split: every contender starts at 1500, and a match-up moves ratings more once it has more votes (results with only a handful of votes barely nudge the ranking, so a fresh face-off can’t leapfrog an established one on a lucky start). Rankings recompute continuously as the world keeps voting.
House rules
GOAT is strictly a light-hearted opinion game. Every face-off is about who you think is greater or which you’d pick — never about judging real people by their appearance. Comments are moderated to keep things fun and friendly. Be kind, argue your case, and let the best GOAT win.
