Terms of Use
Last updated: July 4, 2026
Welcome to Pick the GOAT (“we”, “the site”), at pickthegoat.com. By using the site you agree to these terms. They’re intentionally short and written in plain language — this is a light-hearted opinion game, not a contract you should need a lawyer for.
What the site is
Pick the GOAT lets you vote on “who’s better?” match-ups and see how the rest of the world voted. Results are a for-fun popularity snapshot, not a factual ranking or a statement about any real person. No account is required.
Fair play
You agree not to:
- Use bots, scripts, or other automation to inflate or manipulate votes.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or break the site or its security.
- Scrape or resell the content or data without permission.
We use rate limiting and basic abuse detection to keep results honest, and we may remove votes or block access that looks automated or abusive.
Comments & conduct
Comments are public and moderated. Keep it friendly: no harassment, hate speech, threats, spam, illegal content, or personal attacks. Never judge or demean real people by their appearance — every face-off is about opinion and preference only. We may edit or remove any comment and restrict participation at our discretion. You’re responsible for what you post.
Intellectual property
The Pick the GOAT name, design, and original content are ours. Third-party names and likenesses referenced in match-ups belong to their respective owners and are used only for commentary and identification within a light-hearted opinion poll.
Advertising
The site is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. See our Privacy Policy for how ads and cookies work and how to manage your choices.
No warranty & liability
The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee it will always be available, accurate, or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site.
Changes & contact
We may update these terms as the site evolves; the “last updated” date above will change. Questions? Email pickthegoatsocial@gmail.com.
